HELICON HALLELUJAH!

2005 chestnut roan gelding ¾ Welsh by *Smoke Tree Silver Dragon (full brother to *Sleight of Hand) X Helicon All Smiles by GlanNant Epic. His sculptured head, great conformation, movement and outgoing, bold personality earned him blues and tricolors at the Great Lakes Reg'l  Welsh Pony Show at the Ledges Stables in IL at 4 ½ months.

If you admire his full sister, Helicon Platinum Blonde, you’ll like him too!  (Blondi won green championships in Zone 7 in 2005!)

GlanNant Country Roads is her sire and her dam, Cat Creek Rose of Grace, is by GlanNant Epic so there's lots of national champion performance blood going back to *Cusop Sparklet, *Farnley Lustre, *Coed Coch Prydyddes, and more. Come see her in Illinois.

HELICON CHARMED I’M SURE

This small dark grey 2005 Section B Welsh filly shows the good looks and athleticism one would expect from a daughter of GlanNant Country Roads (by *Cusop Sparklet) and Patchwork Dragon Charmer (GlanNant Epic out of a GlanNant Tango mare). A 3/4 sister to Charmed is the beautiful Patchwork Strawberry who has ribboned at the Pony Finals in both the model and the hack – and been Zone 5 Champion Small in years past. This filly has a ground covering stride and a great deal of pizzaz!

2006 WOW August Show – Winner 2 and Under Section B Welsh Filly, Reserve Grand Champion Section B at her first show.
The judge commented on her excellent movement saying “She was on her own Magic Carpet Ride!"

This filly has all the ingredients to be a "famous" small pony hunter - she just gets more and more impressive!

Bond is working well Western as a 4 year old and will adapt easily to English tack. He has a cute step and a pleasant attitude. His size and build make him suitable for a larger rider.

HELICON PATHFINDER

2006 ¾ Welsh gelding by GlanNant Country Roads x Cat Creek Rose of Grace - by GlanNant Epic.

This is a full brother to the flamboyant mover, Helicon Country Grace, who was USEF Zone 4 (FL) Champion in 3 Year Old Pony Hunter Breeding - and to the lovely filly, H Country Rose. They are by GlanNant Country Roads who was a Supreme Champion Welsh and an incomparable driving pony in his youth - and then at 19 and 20, the WPCSA National Hunter Champion 12.2 and Under!  Their dam, Cat Creek Rose of Grace by GlanNant Epic (consistently in Top Ten of USEF Leading Pony Hunter Sires), has also produced two by Helicon Corsair, one was ASPR IL Site Champion at 3 months of age, and the other is pictured at the upper right of this page, jumping 3'6".

In addition to his presence, eagerness to please, correct underpinnings, and height (12.3 1/2 as a yearling), "Hawkeye" has special BLING - eyes of black and pearl!  He is eye-catching indeed!  Let him be your performance champion!

He is a grey 1999 gelding by GlanNant Epic x Rollingwoods Gin-N-Tonic.  At 14.1 3/4, he is a larger edition of his famous full sister, Helicon Take Notice, who has done it all!  (Once Champion and twice Reserve Champion Small at the USEF Pony Hunter Finals, 2004 USEF Reserve Horse of the Year, Champion at major shows including Lake Placid, Fairfield, & Hampton Classic) 

"Hot Rod" has proven that handsome is as handsome does.  He is currently leading Zone 8 Large Green Pony Hunters.

HELICON CORVETTE

HELICON CORVETTE is a 1999, 14.1 ½ hand, very dark bay, Welsh/Thoroughbred conformation pony by Helicon Corsair whose sire is Pony Finals Champion, Believe in Magic (registered as GlanNant Skipper). Corvette’s dam, Unchained Melody, is one of our best producers from well known hunter pony bloodlines.

Corvette has a big step and a great jump. Corvette is just plain cute and knows it! He has a “pocket pony” personality, will do anything for a treat, and is ready for his own special child or small adult.

Corvette was the 2007 USEF Zone 8 Champion Green Pony and the 2007 CHJA Champion Green Pony. Corvette was also the Champion of the 2007 Helicon Show Stables Halloween High Jump Contest at 4'3 with a junior rider.

Adding to his many accomplishments, in 2008 Corvette was winner of his first Beginner Novice Division at the Colorado Horse Park Eventing Derby! He LOVES the cross country phase and now has double clears in cross country and stadium jumping at Senior Novice level.  Watch for him in other area events with well-known clinician and trainer, Lynn Klisavage.

This exquisite 2004 black filly is a full sibling to Helicon Cordelia, AWR/ASP Site Champion. Paternal grandsire is GlanNant Skipper aka Believe In Magic, Pony Hunter Finals Medium Champion and Overall Reserve Grand!  This filly just gets more and more lovely!

Cornelia's athletic prowess is shining forth in joyful jumping feats and fluid lead changes under saddle. Currently a top of the line medium.

HELICON JUST NOTICE - 2002 top of the line medium ¾ Welsh gelding by GlanNant Country Roads X Rollingwoods Gin-N-Tonic, our *Findeln Blue Danube granddaughter. This affectionate, attractive, intelligent youngster is a good mover and an excellent jumper.

His half sister, Helicon Take Notice, is just the greatest – past Pony Finals Champion Small (plus two reserves), Champion at Washington and Res Ch at Harrisburg,  and also circuit champion at Wellington in 2005.

At his first show, the 2006 Mts and Plains Welsh in CO, “Justin”  Justin was Reserve Champion in both Half Welsh English Pleasure and Hunter, finishing the year as WPCSA SW Regional Champion Half Welsh Hunter!

He also had tricolors in the CHJA Beginner Hunter Division.

In 2007, at the Columbine Welsh/Connemara Show in CO, Justin was the Grand Champion Half Welsh in Hand plus
Champion in Half Welsh Hunter, English Pleasure and Western Pleasure! He also piled up CHJA honors again.

HELICON PRIMROSE PATH - 2001 12.2 hand chestnut roan Section B Welsh mare by GlanNant Country Roads (by *Cusop Sparklet) X Helicon Tiddlywinks, a Farnley Sparkler granddaughter. Reserve Champion at 2’ at her first local show. Will win the hack for you! She is a great favorite with everyone who sees her at work – or gets to experience her loving nature!

Primrose is from a line of winning Helicons including Heat Wave (CO), Mayflower (VA), Epic Quest (WI), Summer (MO), and Bon
Voyage (OH). Professionally trained by Ivy Rejent in CO before coming to Helicon Show Stables.

2006 USEF Zone 8 Champion Children’s Pony Hunter Champion! Thanks to our super Sister Act, Kelsey and Madeline Thatcher! Primrose also boosted Molly to Maui!

Also Colorado Summer Circuit Reserve Champion with numerous blues and tricolors and a major contributor to Molly Rinedollar's $1500 Trainer Incentive Award with a week on Maui!

Finished as Zone 8 Children's Champion Hunter Pony.

Primrose has her permanant card, is having a great CHJA season, and is all set to go in Small Greens and Smalls for 2008!

Zone 4 Reserve Champion 3 Year Old Pony Breeding

Showing off her breathtaking movement, Penny won all 3 Pleasure Pony classes and the Championship at Blue Rock (Quentin, PA) in June with Lauren Fabiano.

Penny Lane is now part of a Super Sister Act at Helicon Show Stables in CO where they have so loved Primrose Path.
Molly reports that Penny has great gaits, a great jump, and lead changes.
