@ New Homes

We wish every success to the daughters of Nelly Ryan and Debbie Wilson in MD with this brilliant pony!

This small dark grey 2005 Section B Welsh filly shows the good looks and athleticism one would expect from a daughter of GlanNant Country Roads (by *Cusop Sparklet) and Patchwork Dragon Charmer (GlanNant Epic out of a GlanNant Tango mare).  A 3/4 brother is Dragonheart, the eye-catching buckskin gelding who was 8th in 2008 USEF natl small green standings - and a 3/4 sister is the beautiful Patchwork Strawberry who has been a Finals ribbon winner on mulitple occasions as well as Zone 5 small pony champion.

This captivating mare is everyone's favorite due to her excellent conformation, dappled coat, and striking movement! Charmed has been professionally started under saddle.

2006 WOW August Show – Winner 2 and Under Section B Welsh Filly, Reserve Grand Champion Section B at her first show.
The judge commented on her excellent movement saying “She was on her own Magic Carpet Ride!"

Charmed has all the ingredients to be a "famous" small pony hunter - she just gets more and more impressive! Currently preparing for the 2010 show season under saddle.

We can hardly wait to see this lovely pony as she is trained to do her pony hunter job for the Ryan and Wilson girls!

3/4 Welsh 1/4 Arabian - 2007 full sister to superstar Gracefully Yours who was Res Champion in Small Greens at the 2009 USEF Pony Hunter Finals. Her score of 1025 was 8th of the entire Finals of over 400 ponies!

GlanNant Country Roads is her sire and her dam, Cat Creek Rose of Grace, is by GlanNant Epic so there's lots of national champion performance blood going back to *Cusop Sparklet, *Farnley Lustre, *Coed Coch Prydyddes, and more. Come see her in Illinois.

Congratulations to Dale and Barb Hotz of West Virginia on the establishment of their
Welsh and hunter pony breeding and show program with these
excellent Section B fillies:

(Maranatha Tapesty X Helikon Tiddlywinks, a Farnley Sparkler granddaughter)
(Tapestry X Starlight's Foxglove by GlanNant Epic)

Chad and Jensen Oness of MN came home from a Neil Young concert near Chicago with a Christmas surprise for wife and mother Beth!

2006 ¾ Welsh gelding by GlanNant Country Roads x Cat Creek Rose of Grace - by GlanNant Epic.

This is a full brother to the flamboyant mover, Helicon Country Grace, who was USEF Zone 4 (FL) Champion in 3 Year Old Pony Hunter Breeding - and to the lovely filly, H Country Rose. They are by GlanNant Country Roads who was a Supreme Champion Welsh and an incomparable driving pony in his youth - and then at 19 and 20, the WPCSA National Hunter Champion 12.2 and Under!  Their dam, Cat Creek Rose of Grace by GlanNant Epic (consistently in Top Ten of USEF Leading Pony Hunter Sires), has also produced two by Helicon Corsair, one was ASPR IL Site Champion at 3 months of age, and the other is pictured at the upper right of this page, jumping 3'6".

In addition to his presence, eagerness to please, correct underpinnings, and height (12.3 1/2 as a yearling), "Hawkeye" has special BLING - eyes of black and pearl!  He is eye-catching indeed!  Let him be your performance champion!

HELICON PRIVATEER is a 1998 bay 13.1 1/2 hand Welsh gelding - a full brother to Helicon Buccaneer (GlanNant Epic X GlanNant Vela)

This pony is fancy, fancy with a wonderful consistency and work ethic.

In 2006, “Huck” was USEF Zone 8 Medium Green Hunter Champion and 4th in Mediums. At the Pony Hunter Finals at Ky Horse Park he was in the top third overall in Medium Greens and 12th out of 196 with Kelsey Thatcher in the Pony Medal Finals.
He is qualified in Mediums for the 2007 Finals.

“Huck” was a big contributor to Molly’s Trainer Incentive Award - $1500 and a week’s stay on Maui!

Best wishes to Caitlyn VanKonynenburg of CA for many great times together!
Thanks to Randy Henry and John French.

Helicon Buccaneer

HELICON BUCCANEER 1997 14 hand Sec. B Welsh, grey gelding (GlanNant Epic x GlanNant Vela by GlanNant Ballad)  Super athlete, very talented jumper, huge step, lead changes, honest willing worker, fab personality.  "Buc" was 2002 CHJA Yearend Res Champion Large Pony Hunter.  He has been Hunter Champion at both the 2001 and 2002 Mts & Plains Welsh Shows and Res Champion English Pleasure at the 2003 Mts & Plains Welsh Show.  One of our all-time favorite ponies!

Sarah Mahany and Buc captured Best Child Rider at 2'6" honors at HITS-Tuscon in 2002.

Congratulations to Kelsey Thatcher of Utah!

Now at Joey Currais' Hunters Landing in Riverdale, NY.

We cannot say enough good things about this pony! Seize the opportunity to purchase or lease this kind, talented, endearing, sweetheart to take your child from short stirrup through small pony hunters. You will love the picture they present!

Black Opal was 2002 USAE zone 8 champion and CHJA small pony hunter champion. She also scored in the top third over fences at the Pony Hunter Finals.

HELICON POETESS is a 1996 grey medium Section B Welsh (GlanNant Epic x GlanNant Aria by *Cusop Sheriff) Very fancy, an exquisite mover! Good jumper, fluid lead changes. Poetess can take a rider from short stirrup to medium pony hunter as she is very kind with smaller kids. Eligible green.

In 2003 she was again Eng Pleasure Champion as well as Short Stirrup Champion at the Mts and Plains Welsh Show, leading USAE Zone 8 Children's Pony Hunter, Yearend Champion in CHJA Short Stirrup and Equitation divisions for Tyler Grayson!

Past North Central Regional Champion Sec. B Filly and 4th in the nation. Absolutely a beautiful pedigree with Farnley Lustre, double *Coed Coch Prydyddes, Criban Victor, *Bowdler Brightlight, *Coed Coch Seren.

2002 Welsh Section B mare, bright chestnut with flaxen mane by GlanNant Country Roads out of Helicon Tiddlywinks, our venerable producer. She is a TOP small pony prospect with long rhythmic movement and a bold attitude. Abbey is a pocket pony to boot!

Very best wishes to our Super Intern of 2005, J.J. Wyatt, on her purchase of this adorable small pony by GlanNant Country Roads. During her three weeks with us, J.J. started Abbey under saddle – falling in love with her great mind and fabulous motion. We are all eagerly awaiting her 2006 foal by Helicon Epilogue!

Kim Seek and Family, Ocala Florida have selected this gorgeous yearling - joining their Helicon Country Grace who has been Best Young Pony for them as a 2 year old.

This athletic youngster thinks it is TIME to run full tilt, TIME to swap leads, TIME to do airs above the ground.  He has a big dark eye, long shapy neck, a blockbuster rear end, and ultra correct underpinnings -- truly a class act as one visitor put it.  This 2003 gelding by GlanNant Country Roads (*Cusop Sparklet) out of our Findeln Blue Danube grand-daughter, Rollingwoods Gin-N-Tonic, he is royally bred for appearance, presence, and performance! TIME, a 3/4 Welsh, 1/8 TB, 1/8 Arabian looks to be a medium.

We wish CARLY COLES OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA many years of happiness with her new cutie!

HELICON COUNTRY CLUB is a 2002 registered Welsh colt by GlanNant Country Roads X Helicon Fantasia. His grand-daddies are the famed sires of AHSA Horse of the Year Champions, *Cusop Sparklet and GlanNant Epic (5th in USAE Leading Pony Hunter Sires). With his impeccable hunter pony lines, bright chestnut coat, flaxen mane and tail, and fabulous movement, Country Club is an excellent pony hunter like both his parents. His dam, Helicon Fantasia, was Supreme Champion at the 2002 Mts and Plains Welsh Show when he was a week old. In 2003 Country Club returned to become the Res Champion Section B Welsh.

Now back in Florida where she was foaled, Blondie was purchased during the High Prairie Circuit at Parker, CO by pony guru, JENNIFER BIELING, of Wellington, FL.

HELICON PLATINUM BLONDE   1999 pale palomino filly   (Ch. *Smoke Tree Silver Dragon X Helicon All Smiles by GlanNant Epic)  This WPCSA registered three-quarter Welsh, one-quarter Arabian is bred for beauty, movement, and performance.   She is affectionate and easy to be around.  This is not the typical blonde as she is very intelligent.  One of her favorite childhood pursuits was turning on the water faucet so she could play!   We have had to remove the handle so she doesn't create another "lake" in the field.

"Blondie" has been brought along carefully and is well-started under saddle. Select her to be your child's eye-catching mount in medium pony hunters or for any ridden or driven pursuit.

At the 2002 Pony Hunter Finals Sale a 4 year old very similar palomino half sister (same sire) sold for $45,000 !

Molly Rinedollar, Trainer/Agent for Helicon Oaks, George & Thalia Gentzel.

Now doing well in medium greens for new owner, Leigh Lucas of Texas.

Abounding in type and personality, this little beauty captivated Dr. John Payne so she just had to go home with him to Foxwater Farm in Thomasville, GA.  "Isabelle" is expecting a child by GlanNant Country Roads in 2003 - and what a hunter genepool that will be with grandaddies, *Cusop Sparklet and Cymraeg Rain Beau.  John, Mary Ellen, and Neill, enjoy!

Helicon Miles of Smiles

HELICON EASY STREET foaled March 19, 2003 by GlanNant Country Roads X Helicon All Smiles by GlanNant Epic. With stockings all around, "Easy" looks as if he will follow in the footsteps of his "uncles" McGregor and Portrait Painter - both AHSA Horse of the Year in larges! Despite his small stature, he has a big step and is leading the Utah Hunter Jumper Association Pony Hunter Division.  He has lots of show mileage including good Short Stirrup ribbons at the Indio Winter Circuit and at High Prairie Summer Series in both Schooling Pony and Smalls. He also drives !

FSF ROYAL SEVEN aka "Ziggy" is a registered Half-Welsh 2000 gelding 14.1 1/2 hands. He is a half-brother to the excellent pony hunter, Elite Storm Front. As a yearling and two year old Ziggy was shown successfully on the line. He is easy, a very good mover and jumper doing 2'9", has lead changes, and is READY TO GO IN LARGE GREENS. A VERY SPECIAL PONY!

Congratulations to Chase Boggio for the numerous green and large championships with this amazing pony!

HELICON CORINNA 1999 very dark grey (Helicon Corsair x GlanNant Aria by *Cusop Sheriff) This sweet ELEGANT lady with a long easy step is three-fourths Welsh and one-fourth Thoroughbred. She is a TOP large pony hunter or dressage prospect with lead changes and lovely movement.
